Location
Malawi, Africa
Organization | Area Info
Something’s Gotta Change is a ministry dedicated to coming along side Christian leaders, inviting them into a life-giving, life-changing relationship with Jesus by connecting with others in a very intentional way. Pastors and their wives are invited to participate in Trios experiencing grace filled growth and accountability. This four-year ministry in Malawi has grown to a network of 35 villages with 750 Trios ministering to over 2,200 pastors and their wives providing a unifying movement among the churches of Malawi as well as raising the view and value of women.
RPC Missions’ Role
RPC Missions supports the effort in Malawi through a financial commitment that now also includes a children’s feeding program and an economic development program for pastors through a micro ministry model of pig farming. The expanding impact and life change-taking place, support, and ministry trips to Malawi will be communicated through RPC Missions.
Recent Activity
A ministry trip was conducted in September. Pastor Bill along with Pastor Gary traveled for two weeks to Malawi conducting training in 11 villages, two days of leadership training as well as experiencing the newly expanded ministry to southern Malawi.
Future Activity
The vision of the Something’s Gotta Change leadership in Malawi is to reach the 29 districts that compromise Malawi with the ministry of Trios. The goal is to be operating in 70 villages by the end of 2014. RPC Missions will continue to envision the Rock Point family with this expanding movement of life change taking place among pastors and wives and prayerfully consider how to join God in what He is doing through Something’s Gotta Change in Malawi.
